Event Program

• 15:15 – Begin your journey with a private transfer from Borgo San Felice Resort to Siena. Upon arrival, meet your guide for a walking tour of the city, filled with festive energy as the Palio celebrations come to life.
• 16:50 – The Corteo Storico, the historical parade, begins its majestic entrance into Piazza del Campo, with participants dressed in splendid medieval costumes, heralding the start of the Palio. From the terrace, enjoy the procession as it makes its way to the square, while sipping fine bubbles or cocktails and indulging in a curated selection of canapés.
• 19:00 – Witness the poignant moment as the Drappellone (the banner) is hoisted onto the Palco dei Giudici (Judges' Stage), marking the official start of the race. The thrilling flag-waving ceremony, known as the della Vittoria, takes place as the standard-bearers of all the Contrade (districts) perform their ceremonial act. And then, the mortar explodes – signaling the beginning of the Palio! After this unforgettable spectacle, enjoy a sumptuous four-course dinner under the stars, where you will be embraced by the festive atmosphere and the excitement of the Palio.
• 22:30 – Following this extraordinary experience, return to Borgo San Felice Resort with the transfer.
