The two days leading up to the Palio are considered the heart of the festival: a dynamic blend of singing, historical parades, flag-throwing, and the exhilarating competition of the contrada flags. Event Program

• 16:30 - Pick-up from Borgo San Felice Resort with a private transfer to Siena. Meet your guide upon arrival.
• 19:00 - The first shot of the gun will signal the beginning of the trial, with horses leaving the Cortile del Podestà at 19:45. Enjoy the view from the exclusive terrace as you witness the traditional “charge” of the Carabinieri on horseback in honor of the Battle of Pastrengo (1848), accompanied by an aperitif. This iconic display will set the stage for the evening’s festivities.
• 20:30 - Experience the heart of the Palio with dinner at one of the contrade. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to celebrate with the locals, sharing in their anticipation of the race and their dreams of victory. You’ll also have the chance to speak with many residents who will share their passion for the Palio and what it means to them.
• 23:30 - Return to Borgo San Felice with private transfer.
