The San Felice estate is one of the largest in Chianti, with approximately 200
hectares of vineyards. To date the San Felice cellars boast 14 labels of white
and red wines. Besides the traditional Chianti Classico wines, including the robust
Riserva wines, there are also other fine red wines such as Campogiovanni (a Brunello
di Montalcino Docg), and the famous Vigorello. The Wine Spectator, one of the

All estate products are on sale at San Felice. Cheeses and cured pork products
are kept in the Grottino, an old room with terracotta vaults supported by thick
wooden beams, and stone walls. The cheeses are matured on shelves, hams are hung
from the beams to mature and the room is furnished with simple tables and cane
chairs. The unmistakeable aroma invites the visitor to enter, and wine is served

the finest wines in the world.
The other prime Chianti product is also made on the estate: San Felice extra
virgin olive oil is made from hand-picked olives pressed at the estate press,
where the up-to-date technology ensures the finest quality oil. There are three
San Felice olive oils Terre del Chianti Classico (granted protected origin status),
Campogiovanni and Velato. |
